Jewelry Design Project Kicks Off with IED: Innovation and Training for the Future of Jewelry
Legor is thrilled to announce its participation in the Jewelry Design 2024-25 project, an innovative initiative promoted in collaboration with the Florentine magazine Leather&Luxury and Taurini, a leading company in natural stone processing, in partnership with IED.
This project will offer young designers from the institute the opportunity to create a collection of 10 jewelry pieces, exploring the potential of Binder Jet technology, which they will have access to through the Legor 3D Metal Hub. The primary goal of the initiative is to foster the creativity of the new generations by providing them with the innovative Binder Jet technology, which allows for unprecedented creative and production freedom.
Students will work in pairs to develop innovative concepts, integrating advanced elements such as three-dimensional structures, moving parts, metal fabrics, and precious stones.
This is a unique opportunity for future jewelry designers to engage with industry-leading companies like Legor and Taurini and gain access to cutting-edge technologies for jewelry manufacturing. For Legor, this project represents another step in its commitment to innovation and education, actively contributing to the future of jewelry through research, technological advancement, and the talent of the next generation.
