Legor is among the promoters and key players of the technical workshop “Más allá del Brillo”, which will take place on March 24 in Mexico at Expo Guadalajara – Salón Mueble.
The event, organized by Legor together with Rio Grande – one of the leading suppliers of materials, tools and technologies for the jewelry industry in the United States and a commercial partner of Legor USA –, Helmuth Fischer – a leading company in coating thickness measurement and material analysis – and Ana María Núñez – a consultant specialized in processes and conformity assessment – aims to provide highly specialized training for professionals in the jewelry sector.
This intensive one-day theoretical and practical workshop is designed for manufacturers, workshops, designers and quality managers who want to deepen their technical knowledge of alloys and jewelry production processes.
Throughout the day, participants will explore precious metals, alloys and electroplating processes, as well as the use of XRF technology for non-destructive measurements, ensuring compliance with the NOM-033/1-SE-2020 standard and establishing inspection routines that reduce errors, returns and regulatory risks.
Marisol Jimenez, Managing Director of Legor Mexico, will deliver a presentation focused on the composition of silver and gold alloys, analyzing the role of each element in the casting process and the properties they bring to the alloy. She will also present several corrosion case studies, showcasing the performance of SILNOVA across different silver alloys.
