Legor: the synergy with schools and universities as a talent engine

The partnerships between Legor and local schools and universities continue, with whom we shared many moments at the end of 2022.

At school, in November, following the donation of a laboratory instrument to ITIS Rossi in Vicenza and the related ceremony, some Legor colleagues told the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students about the company’s history, emphasizing the uniqueness that distinguishes us, and later held a real galvanic lesson. In the same month, a visit was made to the ITS Meccatronico Veneto in Thiene to present the placement opportunities for young students in the Operations area, in the industrial automation field, for which, on this occasion, quick interviews were also organized with the students.

In December, Legor held two seminars at the University of Padua: one whose focus was to share our expertise in the recycling of precious metals, as a supplement to the course” Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies for Circular Economy”, part of the master’s degree course in Materials Sciences, the other one dedicated to share our know-how relating to the Metallurgy of Precious Metals.

The synergistic exchange of knowledge and skills between schools, universities, institutions and organizations is a fundamental element not only for increasing the attractiveness of schools and universities and the competitiveness of organizations such as Legor, but also for increasing the employment rate and giving value to the territory thanks to its economic and social growth.
