Legor among the key players at Fraunhofer IFAM’s “Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing” Workshop
On Wednesday, October 8th, Legor will participate in the “Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing” Workshop organized by Fraunhofer IFAM in Bremen.
Now in its sixth edition, the event is one of the key industry gatherings focused on metal binder jetting and other sinter-based additive manufacturing (AM) processes, featuring a panel of international speakers from both industry and research. These experts will share insights on the latest advancements and the industrial implementation of cutting-edge AM technologies.
Among the speakers will be Fabio Di Falco, Marketing Manager and 3D Business Manager at Legor, and Mattia Lago, 3D Metal Hub Operations Manager at Legor. Their talk, titled “Beyond Extraordinary: The 3D Metal Binder Jet R-Evolution”, will showcase Legor’s experience in applying Metal Binder Jet technology across different sectors — from watchmaking (with the production of Amano+ cases), to fashion (with the printing of stainless steel heels for high-end footwear). Their case studies highlight the versatility of 3D Metal Jet technology, suitable for everything from limited series and special editions to large-scale production.
Two different case studies, but one shared vision: empowering designers’ creativity through the seamless and sustainable integration of advanced technologies into manufacturing processes. Legor positions itself as a technological partner capable of combining design, efficiency and customization — even at scale — contributing to the creation of unique, made-to-measure metal accessories, ready for the future, with a strong focus on cost optimization and reduced environmental impact.
