Legor al workshop “La finanza sostenibile nel contesto di una profonda evoluzione della finanza d’impresa” di EY
On Monday, November 14, the workshop organized by EY « Sustainable finance in the context of a profound evolution of corporate finance » was held at the Soave winery, which was also attended by our CFO, Christian Guerra, to bring Legor’s experience.
EY – worldwide network of management consulting, auditing, taxation, transaction and training professional services – with this workshop focuses attention on how much the integration of ESG factors in a company’s business is today a fundamental requirement in order to be competitive, in the face of regulatory developments, requests from investors and financial intermediaries and ever-increasing collective sensitivity. In this context, the role of sustainable finance, which envisages the application of the concept of sustainable development to financial activity, creating long-term value, is becoming increasingly important.
Therefore, measuring sustainability is a strategic necessity: environmental, social and governance information are fundamental for global capital markets, but measuring the impact of ESG factors can be very complex, taking into account the changing scenarios and the multiple factors to be to consider.
In this context dedicated to sustainable finance, Christian recounted the virtuous path undertaken by Legor, the internal organization that underlies the sustainability projects we carry out, as well as the management of the loans associated with them.
These were the issues addressed during the workshop which involved entrepreneurs and their trustees, CFOs and representatives of the corporate finance and HSE function to pool skills and experience for the benefit of the surrounding.
