Legor awaits you at Formnext to discover Legor 3D Metal Hub: the sustainable innovation centre dedicated to 3D printing for the luxury goods industry
From November 15th to 18th, Legor will be present at Formnext, in the heart of Frankfurt.
Formnext is the world largest international trade fair on additive manufacturing, which every year brings together the most important players in the 3D printing sector to present new products and technologies.
In this panorama full of innovation, Legor will introduce the public to the Legor 3D Metal Hub: this is an innovative centre whose scope is to experiment and produce jewellery and fashion accessories starting from precious and non-precious metal powders, and employing revolutionary Binder Jet technology.
3D printing represents an alternative approach to traditional investment casting, with the advantage that it does not require the combustion of waxes or resins, nor the use of gypsum, meaning a great step towards increasingly sustainable production processes.
Through collaborations with leading players in the sector, Legor is the first company to introduce this new technology, and is working to make the advantages of additive manufacturing available for developing new solutions in the jewellery and fashion accessories industry, pairing flexibility and creativity with productivity optimization.
Finally, to meet the demand for 3D printing and its anticipated large-scale future adoption, Legor has developed Powmet: a line of precious metal powders by way of gold, silver and platinum alloys, and non-precious bronze and copper alloys.
Don’t miss it! Legor awaits you at Booth B39, Hall 11.0 at Messe Frankfurt.
